Mike Wheten

Mike was hired on at CN as a trainman/yardman in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Transferred  to Northern Ontario in 1970. Classed as a Locomotive Engineer in 1973.
 
Legislative Representative for CN Division 728, Capreol, Ontario from 1983 to present. President of Division 728 from 1995 until 2001. Vice Chairman of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers (BLE), Ontario Provincial Legislative Board (PLBO) from 1992 to 1998. Chairman of the PLBO from 1998 to present.

Mike was also elected 3rd vice president at the BLE's Seventh Quinquennial International Convention, held in Miami, Florida in September 2001. As of January 1st 2004, Mike is appointed as trutee of the Rail conference.

Mike is single, he has two daughters and four grand daughters.
